Overnight Accomodation – The tsar’s room / vault
The Tsar’s room at the ground level of the ruin is dedicated
to the Russian Tsar Alexander I, who once stopped at Hertefeld.
This room leads directly into the ruin and into the restored cross
vault. On occasion it is possible to use both areas for living and
overnight accommodation. Since Tsar Alexander unfortunately
left no samovar on his departure, we must prepare your Morning
Tea with a modern kettle.
